A genuine dance concert in Berlin-Friedrichshain which has become Brotherhood's very own home turf by now. The band hasn't played Berlin for two months (since 16.02.2007 at Basement) and after a handful of very mixed and varied shows outside of Berlin in the meantime they are now happy to be back. Support act Treacle People from Worms play some really proggy 70s influenced music which doesn't get the people going at all, the vibe is very low and people sit down and wait for Brotherhood. When the band enters the small stage Kiryk invites the people to stand up, to come closer and "party, party, party -- if you wanna dance then dance" and off they go into "Old tattoo"! Despite the very fast paced beginning of the show it was common consensus among the attendees that the band didn't really take off until "Better hurry". Indeed, this cool 15 minute version features Kiryk on fire for several solos, he shouts "West Coast, West Coast" in a Hip-Hop manner when they take it down for the first time and he pulls off more solo guitar even including Hendrix-style solo singing. This version also features a bass solo by Jan as well as a very long and cool dance performance which amuses and incites the crowd: from now on the vibe is ultimately turned to party and dance concert! For the second time ever they perform "Little red rooster", it's a great version with Kiryk delivering a hot Jagger-esque performance including a great harmonica solo! Throughout the entire show the band is joined by a friend of Erik on percussion. Unfortunately the guy is inaudible for the majority of the concert but when he can be heard he adds an exotic flavour to "Lifetime" and "The drifter". Thanks to a dancing hometown crowd this is a great party-concert which finds the band in nice spirits.
