The sixth edition of the 60s weekend "Go!Lleida" features Brotherhood on the second of three nights. The small festival takes place in the city of Lleida in Catalunya, 150 km northeast of Barcelona. People from all over Spain and France gather for a cosy meeting of mod-fans featuring live music, Northern Soul Allnighters and accompanying activities like a music and clothes market or Vespa/scooter runs. Other bands performing during the weekend are The Phantom Keys (E), Monseigneur Lafayette (BE) and Cool Frog (E). Brotherhood performs first on saturday night followed by the band from Belgium. The venue is a very stylish 1970s nightclub type of room with lots of shiny gold and silver decorations, carpets and mirrors. The bands play while the people enter the venue as a kind of warm up and as a background to the market held at the same time, the main focus of the evening is on the Allnighter DJ/Dance event afterwards. The crowd is thus comparetively small, between 70 and 100 people watch the show, not all of them stay for the entire set, people stop by on their way to the bar and the market. The band plays on rented equipment again, a nice Farfisa gives them their original sound and the sound on and off stage is simply excellent allowing them to play a show free of technical troubles. They take the stage to a lounge-organ melody played by Erik during which Kiryk introduces the individual band members and then they rip into "Camera". As opposed to the previous night in Barcelona they focus on the songs and cut away most of the stage banter tonight. The crowd enjoys the show, they don't freak out like the people in Barcelona but some of them dance and most people listen in an interested manner. After the show many express their enthusiasm about Brotherhoods unique brand of Garagerock to the band-members. The band performs a short but solid and professional set highlighted by an upbeat version "A thing called love" and a great version of "Kicksville". Due to heavy partying the night before Kiryk has a sore voice tonight which makes him miss most of the notes in "Love". In his eighth show with the band Lars is super on delivering an outstanding performance, he just gets better and better! The second ever performance of "Surrender" (debuted the night before) closes the set finishing an all too short but exciting Spain adventure!
