this is not the Appaloosa with John Parker Compton and violinist Robin Batteau in the late '60s. Nor is it a more recent country band that's out there. This is instead a band that was from Champaign, and gigged heavily into at least the late 70's, albeit with an apparently different lineup than what's found here.
