Alan Burke is the singer/guitarist in Afterhours, the best Irish band on the planet. (Although he's pretty modest and will tell you Planxty and Danu aren't too shabby, despite the latter nicking Green Brooms off him for their album). The band semi-retired in 1995, but still do the odd gig. This is a festival show a couple of weeks after his 2nd solo CD was released.
