Comment
The old Cat's Cradle used to have the stage laid out right beside the street entrance. T-Bone made this super cool entrance walking in off the street in a long trench coat, like on the cover of "Proof...", guitar case in hand, singing acapella Roger Miller's "King of the Road". He then proceeeds to take out his guitar and begin the show. You can hear the tail end of this entrance where the recording begins. T-Bone had the crowd in rapt attention, frequently singing along as on "Trap Door", "Murder Weapon" and "Driving Wheel". The two part audience backing vocals on "Trap Door" is something I'll never forget. Truly a magical moment that's never been duplicated in my show going life. At one point in the show T-Bone notices an old piano off to the side of the stage and uses it for "Madison Avenue". Most of this set was requests and there's a lot of great stage banter from T-Bone.
