Comment
w/ Whole Wheat Horns
They play some weird stuff (like the instrumental "Georgia On My Brain" and an absolutely smokin' cover of James Brown's "Good Good Lovin'"), they do the Magic Box and Terry says several times that he doesn't feel like playing any music, so he takes a few extended talk breaks...until the crowd starts to get a little bit restless and the "play some music!" taunts start- then, in response, Terry starts what sounds like a classical piece on the clavinet, quickly switches to bits and pieces of West Side Story that then turns into the James Bond theme, then a brief snippet of Little Rootie Tootie, then a Chet Atkins -like country picker, then a Tommy drum solo.....)and THEN the Magic Box.
I later heard that this show actually got them banned from the Stanhope House because the owner said something like "When you play the Stanhope House, you play MUSIC!"
