The Grateful Dead was a true music phenomenon, attracting unprecedented loyalty -- some would say zealotry -- from the legions of "Dead Heads" who followed the rock band from coast to coast. The bands's bassist, Phil Lesh, has written a new memoir of his life in The Dead, Searching for the Sound. Tucker -- very much a fan himself -- discusses with Lesh the book, life on the road, the band's relatively modest financial success and the death of Dead leader Jerry Garcia.Source Sited:http://www.pbs.org/tuckercarlson/thisweek/backpage.html
