Detlev Hoegen brought John Campbell to Germany to support his German release on Crosscut Records, A Man And His Blues. This performance at the Bermnindale Cultural Festival was the first ever performance by John Campbell on European Soil.
Detlev remembers John stepping off the airplane as the Texas Country Bluesman dressed in a three piece black suit,lizard skin boots and bolo tie.
The fans in germany impressed john and he would talk for years about these first few concerts.
