Here's another set of demos from the Lynyrd Skynyrd 1991 sessions,
much like the one torrented here a month back or so. Some of these
songs (Dixie, I'll Tell You What It Takes, Do Unto Others, and Bust
Out) have never been released. Dixie is an original track, not the
Confederate national anthem (it could really be called "My Heart
Belongs To Dixie).
Tracks 1-7 are instrumentals, with the exception of Track 4, Dixie.
For the first half of this song, vocals are provided by some of the
band members, seemingly making fun of the song's lyrics. Tracks 8-13
feature Johnny Van Zant on vocals. I'm 99.9% sure Artimus Pyle is
playing drums here (though Artimus is pictured with the band and is
credited on the Lynyrd Skynyrd 1991 album, he does not actually play
on it; Kurt Custer played drums). Enjoy.
