Elvis Presley - "Elvis" bootleg LP
King Kong Records, 1976?
This is a strange album. The cover is just a white cardboard sleeve with a piece of paper glued to it saying "Elvis" and listing the song titles. On the back, in black marker is "Sept, 21, 1976". Side A features masters and outtakes from Sun which sound like they are sourced from acetates or 78's. Side B features some movie songs from the 50's with strange overdubs on them...audience noise, etc. The most interesting material would be the interviews and the Teen Parade Elvis dialogue. There is slightly more surface noise on this record than on Command Performance, but its not bad. This a direct transfer from the vinyl and nothing has been done to alter the sound. (vinyl lp>cool edit>flac)
thanks ScottP for the seed
