Comment
Recorded some two years before the release of "Amore" the show captures what partly seems like a different band than later. And OK, two members were switched before "Amore", but more apparent perhaps are the obvious Reggae and Ska influences that can be found here in songs like "Trenchtown Rock" (Bob Marley cover), "Drop Your Eyes" and "The Israelites" (a cover of the biggest hit from Desmond Dekker and The Aces which was the first succesful Reggae act reaching top 10 in the US with this song in 1969). Although different to later Hooters-shows, it is still a great live band that can be heard here, and the early versions of "All You Zombies" and "Fightin' On The Same Side" makes one feel somewhat "home" if nothing else does. Contains some unreleased songs. Wireless is also a very rarely performed song. "Drop Your Eyes" is sung by John Kuzma, whom John Lilley replaced in 1983. Kuzma used to do some writing and would get a few songs per show to sing.
