Comment
* - During the stretch, toys were distributed to the audience to play with/throw/whatever.
** - no lyrics, first time played; performed at midnight in lieu of "Auld Lang Syne." The band had no idea that the same thing was being done at Times Square.
*** - with "2002" instead of "1-2-3-4" countoff.
% - Tom Waits cover, first time played. Mr. Thornton on lead vocals, Mr. Metzger on guitar, Mr. Southern and Noah Chernin on backing vocals, no Mr. Durant.
%% - with "Sister Ray" vocal teases.
%%% - with behind the back solo by Mr. Metzger.
$ - with inadvertant lyric transpositions.
$$ - with a very drunk Erik Swain on off-key backing vocals.
$$$ - the band toppled Mr. Thornton's drum kit at the end.
The Rocketships (Noah Chernin, Shawn Fogel, Mr. Southern & Mr. Thornton) opened. Mr. Metzger joined them for "Who's Got the Crack."
