Set 2
Comments: The first version of this source was transfered via analogue tape to cdr, with a lesser sound quality than this final version which is transfered digitally. The lesser quality version is easily recognized on Flick being the first track of disc two.
All in all a powerful set, and one of the best audience recordings of the 1998 summer tour.
Highlights: Intense first part of the jam inside K9, cool and funky ending jam in STG, hilarious mistake inside Ozone, looong Young Man Blues includes a verse of Hawkwind's Master Of The Universe
Alex says: an excellent show in very good sound. an interesting K9 jam, the long "stg" with some funky bass work towards the end, a very talkative bent showing off with his german, a raging 13 min "ymb" with improvised lyrics in the middle & a powerful "dr. hoffman" that makes the "'cuda" version pale make this show very worthwile.
however, i don't think it is the #1 contender for the "RWI" throne. it is still surpassed by the sharpness of the copenhagen concert & the psychedelia of the tivoli show.
