Comment
Tempest is Lief Sorbye's Centic/Norwegian/Traditional European Folk/Rock
band, featuring (on this recording) John Land on bass, Todd Evans on guitar,
Adolfo Lazo on drums, Michael Mullen on fiddle, and Sorbye on electric and
acoustic single and double neck mandolin and vocals. This is a fantastic,
70 minute recording (a little low on the levels sound-wise, though) of their
set during one of my region's biggest annual music festivals. Past
festivals have included several other proggy delights, such as the Moody
Blues (I believe, if memory serves) and definitely Annie Haslam on her
Haslam's Renaissance tour in the mid 90's.
