That's baloney and I don't want to be that guy. Having said that, here are a couple of friendly tips to the others at a show that can help everyone enjoy it just a little bit more... To that ONE guy in every audience that thinks yelling Free Bird between songs is funny, IT'S NOT. It's the most stupid and un-original thing ever. Don't be that guy. To the the OTHER guy in every audience that stands directly below the only mics in the venue and claps (out of rhythm) during the quietest song of a three hour set, don't be that guy. Clapping when everyone else claps during a high energy part of a show...cool, it adds to the energy. Clapping by yourself during a quiet, intimate portion of the show...NOT COOL...it's distracting and annoying to everyone else in the venue.
