Control - Opening for Merl Saunders and the Rainforest Band - I don't remember who it was, but someone who knew I was a taper approached me at Andy's Carryout to ask me if I had heard of Uncle Sam's Dream Machine. When I said I hadn't, he told me about them and said they were hoping someone would start taping their shows. Soon thereafter, an opportunity presented itself when they opened for Merl Saunders. I was impressed with their youthful, positive, optimistic, competent jamming, and it seems they found their taper that day. This was my first recording of them, and I hope to have dozens more posted over the coming months. Enjoy! - Transferred 2022-09-18
