Also a huge thanks to Dennis for coordinating with the band, and Seth for lending the R-09. This was at the smaller stage, which was one of those portable stage trucks, on the beach of the Okanagan Lake. It was fairly hot this day, but somewhat overcast, so the conditions were just fine to be staying still and taping. Microphones were attached to the front of the soundboard fence. The sound guy left the acoustic guitar soloed on the headphone out for the first five songs. I was busy recording video of the set, but found a spot to set my camera and let it record while I checked on the soundboard. I notified the sound guy and he switched it to the full mix. Unfortunately, the feed was too hot, so there is just a little bit mixed in here. Too many things to look after and not enough time to get things set right. You can hear a bit of bleed from the main stage in between songs. Devon Coyote played at Keloha in 2012 and was on stage during soundcheck at this show. He came out all dressed up and played with the band for one song, and during the same song 3 hula girls came on stage and danced with the band. Keloha being a Hawaiian themed festival.
