We started "You're No Good" (4th song of 2nd set) and about 10 seconds in a HUGE downpour hit us (yes...even in the Shrub Steppe we can get torrential rains). We scrambled to get our gear in a side door (the fermentation room!) to get it out of the rain. Kevin held this huge umbrella up and it kept getting heavy with water causing it to tilt (and dump MORE water on equipment). Sigh...the fun of being musicians! We scrambled to setup a smaller PA inside the facility and Mel entertained with "Someone Like You" while Kevin got the rest of the gear setup. We then rocked them the 3rd (Dry!) set. The next day Kevin got to wipe off all the mud/water from his equipment and wire it all back together (it was a nasty spider web of wires...). Sigh... Until next time, Kevin B.
