First show back since a one-off festival appearance (Square Roots) in 2017, first proper headlining show back in 9 years. This lineup does not include Aaron Duggins or Rebecca Manthe. They have since moved on and declined to play. Instead, Jason Batchko does a tremendous job filling in the missing violin and accordion parts on the piano/organ. The band sounded incredible and extremely well rehearsed. I expected some rust around the edges, but there was none to be heard. They sounded just as good as they did back in 2013. Very impressive. When I asked the guys if this would be it, I got back "August". So, perhaps the Married Men will play more down the road. We can only hope. This band is far too special to go away forever.
