Title
Stephen Kellogg Live at Acoustic Café on 2005-10-14

description
Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers appearing on the radio show "Acoustic Café," which was recorded at a studio in Ann Arbor, MI and aired the following March as part of episode 582, for the week of 6 March 2006 through 12 March 2006. This consists of an interview by host Rob Reinhardt and in-studio live performances of four songs. These were archived on the website (acafe.com) and eventually deleted as they aged, but this audio was pulled from the contemporary CD distribution of this show. Because of the way this was edited for the CD, there is very frustrating overlap between the interview portions and the songs. I've cut the tracks as precisely as I can, but there's still some bleed between tracks. That is how they are on the CD. Where the overlap was more severe, I attempted vocal removal, to varying degrees of success. Stephen Kellogg - vocals, guitar Kit Karlson - bass Chris Soucy - guitar Brian "Boots" Factor - drums 01 Acoustic Café introduction - Rob Reinhardt ! 02 interview section intro - Rob Reinhardt 03 interview part 1 - Rob Reinhardt, Stephen Kellogg 04 Start the Day Early - Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers 05 interview part 2 - Rob Reinhardt, Stephen Kellogg 06 See You Later, See You Soon - Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers 07 interview section outro - Rob Reinhardt 08 interview section intro / interview part 4 - Rob Reinhardt, Stephen Kellogg 09 Girlfriend as Pretty as You - Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers # 10 interview part 5 - Rob Reinhardt, Stephen Kellogg 11 Wagon Wheel - Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers @ # 12 interview section outro - Rob Reinhardt ! 13 Acoustic Café credits ! ! music in the background is "Million Dollar Intro" by Ani DiFranco # the interview bleed, and the interviewer's laugh, was so disruptive to the beginning of these songs that I felt the need to apply a vocal remover, which created a flatness to the first notes of the songs. It's much less noticeable in Wagon Wheel than Girlfriend. @ Wagon Wheel is an Old Crow Medicine Show song that Bob Dylan co-wrote, Reinhardt refers to it as a Bob Dylan song.
