Early show was an all request show. If someone asked for it, Robyn played it. Grant Lee Phillips guested occasionally on backing vocals and general hi-jinx. Late show was an Eye show. Complete performance (almost) of the 1990 CD Eye plus a long encore. David Rawlings, Gillian Welch, and Grant guested during this set. David was onstage for most of the set. Over three hours of great music and hilarity. As far a Robyn Hitchcock shows go, this is as good as it gets. Fantastic sound. No issues. Yes, I spent forever turning down the laughing woman in Early Show. One laugh at a time. The two shows were recorded by two different tapers using the same gear. There are no fades between discs.
