Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad > Moonalice Legend About Moonalice’s Truckee River Regional Park Show; According to Moonalice legend, today we celebrate the spirit of 76: Jerry Garcia would have been 76. If he were here today, what color tee shirt would he be wearing? We’d like to think the answer is hidden in today’s poster by Alexandra Fischer. Would it be the yellow and black of the buzzing bees or the purple of the thistle flower? Perhaps the rainbow colors of the dragon fly or golden color of wheat? Could it be the green, green grass of weed? Only the legend knows and for some reason it’s not telling. However, the legend offered a joke for you: Every summer the mountains around Lake Tahoe attract tourists looking for a good hike. The smart ones get a guide so that they can fully appreciate the environment. Unfortunately, some of the flat landers are clueless. One time a tourist was giving his guide an especially hard time with silly questions. They were walking through a mountain valley that was strewn with rocks, and the traveler asked, "How did these rocks get here?""Sir," said the guide, "they were brought down by a glacier."The tourist peered up the mountain and said, "But I don't see any glacier.""Oh, really?" said the guide. "I guess it has gone back for more rocks."
