Happy to see Ex-Cowboy and Like Herod being played regularly again, and I think the new material is their best since HWNDBYW (eh, maybe Atomic?). This is my second show with this rig and it met my standards yet again. This was probably one of the loudest shows I've ever attended, having seen the likes of Sunn O))), GYBE, MBV and Mogwai (12 times already). I decided to get closer to the stage than I usually do when I'm recording, since this venue doesn't have the best reputation for acoustics. I think my gamble paid off and it shows on the unbelievable amount of detail on this recording. According to my recording app, I did get some input overload on the bass drum during the IJMID climax, but I can't really pick any significant distortion on the capture (maybe it has a built-in Hard Limiter feature that I can't manipulate). Overall, this one of my best captures of the band to date and definitely worth grabbing! #Please pass the info file along as you distribute the show# -j.mart 2022/04/08
