Every Country's Sun is in my opinion the band's weakest album, even if backed by the brilliant Party in the Dark. Still, another good show by the boys, I'm happy to catch them on this tour regardless of my dislike for ECS, and what a kickass lighting design. This is a good recording - not great - which I attribute to my position in the venue. Apparently one of my DPA's wasn't screw in properly on the 48V adapter, and for some reason it came lose during the encore only, which messed up the left channel during Remurdered and the beginning of Old Poisons. I made the affected parts mono and stereorized it a bit to save your ears. The "pumping" effect during Remurdered is due to the mic shorting, which activated the limiter on my 744T (I had both channels linked). Despite this, I still think this is a recording worth grabbing. Xander Harris was unbelievable, Philadelphia was a lot of fun, and the band thanked the crowd a few times for braving the snow and coming to the show. #Please pass the info file along as you distribute the show# -j.mart 2017/12/10
