Selby - Vocals, Keyboards Musicians perspective: This was a solo performance for my co-workers. I have been plotting lately how I might work out a solo gig and I gotta say this worked out fairly nicely. I still need a LOT of work on my solo piano stuff to clean up my performance and have an overall tighter sound, but in general, this could work. The two tunes with backing arrangements (BSF Theme and Bonsai Tree) worked well (even though Bonsai Tree's arrangement was a draft and has more work to be done). These two proved the concept though...which is nice. For posterity sake, I'll outline my immediate future goals here: 1. Finish "Old School" (70s fusion album of original instrumental jazz tunes). 2. Get everything ready on the PSR-S700 keyboard so that I could perform all the tunes from Palouse, Old School, and In My Father's House. 3. Go out and perform this stuff solo and see where it leads.
