This was the first stop of the Dean Ween Group tour with Keith opening, and the second time doing a full opening tour with Dean Ween Group. The flight from Newark to Seattle was an adventure in itself with 2 acoustic guitars and a banjo doing all carry on. No checking in for these fragile instruments, but we had plenty to check in with the red suitcase collection. We flew into Seattle because it was way cheaper all the way around including the rental car. It was a pretty good ride from Seattle to Eugene, but we stopped off and stayed with an old school friend of mine. We all stayed up having fun that night then the next morning hit the road for Eugene. Very cool venue all the way around. They had a great staff, nice house guy, a real nice sound system, excellent food trucks, and the crowd was awesome. They were definitely hungry for some New Hope rock! The recording is pristine and Keith is full of energy his entire set. The crowd really liked him, and he definitely got a lot more fans. I was working the merch table this whole tour, and people bought a bunch of cds and vinyl this night. That is always great and the fun was just beginning! ENJOY & PLEASE SHARE EVERYWHERE!!!
