The first show back on the east coast after a few days off for travel and rest. This was a weird show. Kind of a strange place and location for a club. In a bad neighborhood, but luckily the parking lot was fenced in and had a guard. The town of DC is notorious for lame crowds on weeknights. It is not much of a rock and roll town during the week. Everything closes at 8:00pm. It does not get more anti-rock and roll than that. This was the only show that did not sell out.The crowd was small but very enthusiastic. The venue's house sound man and staff were great! They treated us really well. Keith brought his A game, as usual, and even broke out an improv tune at the end of his set. I asked him after the show what he wanted to call it. He answered without hesitation "Throw Down at Steamboat Willie’s." It kicks ass! ENJOY & PLEASE SHARE EVERYWHERE!
