This was the last of the west-ish shows. This was a really wild way to end this part of the tour before heading back to Jersey then to DC to start the east coast portion of the tour. The Taft Ballroom was a really nice venue. Great sound, cool sound man and staff, and the crowd was more than psyched. Ohio seems to really love Keith. The place itself was immense. It was absolutely the strangest and toughest load in of the tour. The building contained The Taft Theatre upstairs and the Taft Ballroom was in the basement. We thought MC Escher set the place up. You had to go up 2 flights of steps, across the stage at the Taft Theatre and down a really long hallway. Then find the guy with the freight elevator key. Then the elevator dropped you off at the back of the Taft Ballroom. Then you had to drag everything across the ballroom to the stage. True insanity! Once things got rolling it turned out to be one of the best gigs of the tour for both bands. This is the best recording quality wise so far and a stellar performance. It is absolutely fantastic!
