Time to Pray Notes: This was their set opening for Gov't Mule on one of Karl's nights off from the Rolling Stones tour that had just started two days earlier. Since it looked like it was going to rain, I decided to not risk getting my Edirol recorder wet and ran my usual mics into the iPhone instead. With the Stones dates getting rescheduled after these Mule shows got announced, I ended up seeing Karl three nights in a row: this show, the following night opening for Mule in Louisville, and the next night in Chicago with the Stones. I went from being just a few feet away at the first two shows to being so far off to the right side that he was blocked by the stage setup in Chicago that I didn't see Karl until he took a bow at the end of the show. I recorded this one in the reserved seat section up front just left of center.
