The master was recorded with just a bit too much headroom. I did a mild linear normalization of the peak across all files to 0dBFS, after upconverting to 24 bit for more processing resolution. The levels are still a bit low, but I don't want to do anything non-linear (like compression) that will degrade the dynamic range of the original recording.
