GSBG’s ATL appearance featured special guest Rev. Jeff Mosier who brought his banjo to join in on a pair of songs in the first set and Billy Strings who added his guitar during a second set sit-in. Greensky Bluegrass welcomed Mosier during their first set following opening takes on “Dustbowl Overtures,” “Don’t Let Your Deal Go Down,” “Lose My Way” and “Ain’t No Bread in the Breadbox.” Mosier added his banjo to renditions of the traditional “Paul & Silas” and the Greensky original “I’d Probably Kill You.” After beginning set two with “Just To Lie” and adding a nod to Phish with “Vibration Of Life” and “Kung” teases within “The Four,” the band brought out Billy Strings. The guitarist augmented “Burn Them” which incorporated a performance of “Reuben’s Train.” The second set ended with “Broke Mountain Breakdown” > “Walk Away” > “Broke Mountain Breakdown” dotted with “Tweezer Reprise” elements and a closing offering of “Windshield.” The night drew to a close with and encore made up of “Just Listening” and “Living Over.”  Support your local venues & artists Buy their stuff & bring your friends
