Gin and Juice (Calvin Broadus, et al.) > When I Need You (Albert Hammond/Carole Bayer Sager) > WKRP in Cincinnatti Main Theme (Tom Wells/Hugh Wilson) > Surrender (Rick Nielson) > Gin and Juice *Loni Anderson got up from her table (where she was sitting with Tim Reid) and introduced herself to the band b/t songs 15 & 16. got to this ranch at 3p for a 9:45p show. lots of hanging out, throwing the football around, etc...a hackeysack game even broke out. unofficial opening act was jimmy strumming his guitar outside for a couple of hours while the guys played cards. he burned through about 6 tom petty songs at one point just before they had to take the stage (even the losers, I need to know, here comes my girl, american girl, etc). show itself was interesting. people were there to support a charity (i.e., NOT to see the gourds), but the guys put on a good one anyway. song of the night was steeple. moment of the night was loni anderson walking up to the stage to shake hands with kev and jimmy. she left about a song later.
