Evans ~ drums Notes: Stand placed behind FOH DFC 8' up 20 ft from stage PA. We initially ran 6 channels, AKG ck61, 63 + SBD. After working with these channels in the DAW, I noticed some phase cancellation in the mic channels and the SBD channels. Im assuming running NOS and DINa had something to do with this so I picked the best sounding mic channel and tried to mix it with the SBD channel. This did not pan out either. Using all the channels proved difficult to align correctly so I opted to just use the ck63 channels alone. Audio edits include +2 db in overall treble to compensate for windscreens and -2 db @ 125 hz to soften bass.
