Cowboy Junkies  11/16/2018 - Kulturbahnhof Vegesack ('KUBA'), Bremen, Germany  "All That Reckoning Tour"  VGRM478  ********************************************************************** NOTE : First off, I would like to thank RCM (Manillo??) greatly for capturing this sweet show & sharing it with everyone--your efforts & generosity are most appreciated!! I am very happy with how this remaster turned out...I feel it is a SIGNIFICANT improvement over the raw capture & I hope you all feel the same. The mix on this was pretty nice & very good stereo action, for sure, but whomever mixed it had practically zero bass nor low end in it at all. I dug & I dug & thankfully feel like I found that warmth to the mix that should be a part of Cowboy Junkies' beautiful, haunting sound. Also tempered some of the harsh, 'tinny' highs that were present, removed some clicks I found, tastefully WAVhammered the crowd noise so they were not as loud as the music & did a bang up job on fixing 2 FM dropouts I found within while combing thru it ( I challenge you to find these--hahaha!! ). Anyhow, all in all, I feel all this raised this recording up to what we all want out of a Cowboy Junkies listen--stark, warm & scary at times beauty. Agree?? Whaddya mean 'no'?? Just check it out & enjoy!!  The RAW capture original is here out of respect & you can see the difference if you are interested &/or would rather have that one, etc.:  https://archive.org/details/cj2018-11-16.bremen.fm.RCM.flac24 Also, a 16-bit version of this remaster is available here:  https://archive.org/details/cj2018-11-16.eurofm.rcm.vgrm478.flac1648 ********************************************************************** 1.
