Definitely in California. :: #04 a tasty gospel number! #05 a fine card-playin' blues that morphs into talkin' blues. ::: Nothing here ever released, trax clearly rehearsals. Corrected song titles&other musician names would be welcome. Recording Information ::: John Cipollina's master stereo studio reel (As with most JC reels, unknown if actually a master, but likely here) -> DAT(x1) -> "1st" generation Maxell MX-90 cassette, Dolby B on.  Playback/Remastering 2014 + 2021 ::: 1st generation Maxell MX-90 cassette on Nakamichi 680ZX cassette deck, Dolby B on, azimuth adjusted for individual tape, heads cleaned & demagnetized -> Sony Linear PCM Recorder PCM-M10 (LPCM 44.10kHz/16bit WAV files) -> computer -> Audacity [normalisation to remove DC offset (NOT to normalize volume), channel/phase alignment, fades, manual one-at-a-time glitch, pop, click, dropout & dullspot repairs, volume adjustments, speed OK in frequency analysis, NO equalisation or noise reduction] -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. Freed 2021-08-xx.
