A new band in the tradition of the Grateful Dead, now playing shows on the east coast, the rocky mountains and the US Virgin Islands. Come on out & enjoy! Band played a wonderful, super fun show this night with the legendary, 82 years old & still killin' it Garth Hudson along for the ride!! PLEASE NOTE : My recording mix (SBD portion of this matrix) that night was an independent mix separate from what was coming through the PA. It's pretty darn good, but I was not buried in the headphones with it near the beginning of the show as I was making sure that the main PA mix was there & also that it was good for people all over the other decks of the boat (which were additional separate mixes, etc.). Having said that, it's still a really good SBD recording mix right off the bat, but the vox take a bit to truly get in there at the start. This mostly just affects "How Sweet It Is" & then they really start coming in as I began to tweak the SBD recording mix after that tune...they are there for "How Sweet", just not as much. It ends up being a pretty great recording, actually, especially from "Deal" forward & I hope y'all dig it. It's all matrix mixed with the pair of schoeps that were at the stage lip as well, of course. ******************************************************************************* Disc 1: soundcheck- 1. noodling 2.
