Defense & Desire was released as a teaser single for Save His Soul; Lucky Lack had just been recorded but did not make the cut for the album. It entered the setlist rotation in 1992 and was eventually released commercially in 1995 as part of the Run-Around 5-song EP. The recordings sound identical to the official releases.
