Egads this keyboard is compelling as HECK! DANG! HUGE bottom end (bass guitar and kick drum of the drum kits). Also tested out our new Mackie Thump 12's and had them on the floor. This was a simple little gig for my sweet sister and it was in a side room at the winery. Not a large room, and the Mackie's on the floor pointed back at US (the musicians) worked perfectly for the size of the room. Kevin had worked feverishly since Monday noon (when he got the new toys!) to get things ready. LOVE LOVE LOVE the sound! Please ignore Girl from Ipanema (murdered that song...sorry!). The rest of the tunes sound pretty dang good. Here's looking at the year 2015 as a building year to get our sound dialed in perfectly. I had the drums, bass guitar, and keys all coming out of the Tyros 5 separately into the mixing board so I was able to really separate out the sounds. I'd better stop writing because I could write a book on how perfectly the Tyros 5 fits into what we're trying to do, both with Baja Dunes and with 3-Way Street. Until next time, Kevin B.
