Yeah! I tried swapping out my entire PA with the JamHub Bedroom model. See: http://jamhub.com/what/bedroom.html Unfortunately I didn't have the actual unit within easy arms reach so I essentially "wrestled" with it all night long (through no fault of the unit itself of course). The sound quality was TOTALLY acceptable and the usability is really really cool. I'll talk more about this when I get the "GreenRoom" model (in a week or so). Suffice it to say that the JamHub can TOTALLY be used for live performance as your PA mixing board. HUGE thanks to Dawn Cryan for singing vocals on "It's Too Late". What a great voice that lady has! Loved playing that tune! This particular recording is the matrix recording: A "matrix" recording is where you take a soundboard recording (in this case, the JamHub Bedroom) and blend in a stereo recording "from the room" (in this case, a Zoom Q3HD sitting at the back of the room pointed at our PA speakers). Matrix recordings usually pick up more of the room noise and crowd noise, but it is the frequencies and overall sound of the room that the soundboard recording DOESN'T pick up...so blending these two sources gives you a more "live" and warm sound when compared to a straight soundboard recording. Until next time, Kevin B. Selby Baja Dunes performed cover songs of material "made famous by" the following artists: | Jackson Browne | Johnny Rivers | The Beatles | Van MOrrison | Everly Brothers Steely Dan | Creedence Clearwater Revival | The Youngbloods | Jimi Hendrix | Eric Clapton | Paul Simon | The Eagles | Steely Dan | Carole King Neil Diamond | Bruce Hornsby | Atlanta Rhythm Section |
