That's all I can say. The Baja Blues Band rides again! This time we had Barry Bergstrom join us. No practice. No prior gigs together (unless you count Kevin and Barry being in the 20-member big-band "Wayne McGuffin's Continentals" THIRTY YEARS AGO). For some reason, this particular trio really energized off of each other and there was some fine musicianship going on. Very nice renditions of Baja staples (By the River, Sublime, Too Many Times, Losing End, Last Dream, Hear Me Knockin' were all especially good). The covers also went very well. Highlights include Ain't No Sunshine (especially the nod to "Stairway to Heaven"), Pink Panther, Little Wing, Fire and Rain, and Rikki. Hopefully this trio will play again some time.
