Acoustic Junction Live at The Muse on 1995-08-25
description
First, let me apologize on the behalf of "Tweedledee and Tweedledum", the so-called tapers. I left "Think About It" completely out of this upload, since it was so badly mangled... the first few seconds of "Bombay Bound" will give a sense of what it was like for most of the song. According to my notes, it was taped by "two trippin' a-holes", and I believe it... If anyone has a better copy of this show, please let me know! This taught me two things - first: Always (always, ALWAYS!) bring your own gear to tape important shows. I was a long way from home and it would have been inconvenient at best for me to bring my stuff. Second, to paraphrase the great Loudon Wainwright III: " Taping on acid is easy.... taping on acid's a breeze. Just keep your fingers off the dials.... and don't laugh, don't fart and don't sneeze! " Anyway, along with Think About It, I'm pretty sure they missed the first half of the second set. The following night , they missed the entire first set.... I did what I could to fix the fluctuations in volume, etc, but as they say, "You can't fix stupid!".    Set I Intro Today We Sing the Blues Poets Think About It Bombay Bound Never Until Now Sugartown Shape of Things to Come High On a Mountain > Where Is She Now? Whereabouts Unknown Fisherman's Blues > Riki   Set II (Cut) Build a Road Look Before It's Gone East Side Story Broken Mirrors Something Penny For Your Thoughts > Drums Desire I suspect I will continue my rant when I get around to posting the second set from 8/26/1995. Thanks for listening and enjoy! -Mike
