Even bigger thanks to the KRACH AM BACH organizers for open taping and free tickets including free catering+millions of water (ok some beers, too) Huge thanks to THE MACHINE for artistic freedom and allowing to tape/spread. Dank ye well, David, Davey and Sander!!!! A few notes on KRACH AM BACH: Attendance: app. 3000+ people Admission: 3-day ticket (very limited) was 65 Euro in advance, 2-day (friday+saturday) was 45. Sold out festival. Security: extremely mellow and easy. Very nice! Thanks! Catering: various food booths with moderate price from vegan to meaty. Tasty! Three booths with liquids at sensational cheap prices (a 0.3 Veltins beer for 2.50 Euro, Water/Soft drinks each 1 Euro only!), a Cocktail bar, Coffee-Bike ect. Toilets etc: A lots of porta-loos, very clean, fresh drinking water for free, water for cleaning (it was very dusty). Special: When the fountains were almost dried out, a one liter bottle of cooled water was given for 1 Euro return money. Water itself was free, but the crowd was also asked to donate the return. Weather: Ongoing heat period over Europe. Temperatures on friday and saturday afternoon beyond 35+C. No wind on friday, a bit better on saturday. Personal thanks from Spacebandit: My dear friends - the chiefs - Klaus and Christian and all the other totally relaxed festival staff and helpers. The guys at the Soundboards: very cooperative, no problems with plug-ins, power supply ect. The Bands: All very amazed about the easy-going atmosphere. I had a lot of great talks with many of them - some are my favourites. Our Backstage-Camp-Crew of dear Marco, Natalie and Peter. Very funny "intellectual" talks. My dear partner-in-crime: Rackhir.
