I was unfamiliar with the band till someone suggested going. I’m too fussy rock-wise to see as much rock as I’d like, so I figured why not. They’re a nice mix of psychedelia, krautrock and whatever. They’re not as frenzied or virtuosic as Acid Mothers, but there was some nice interplay between the guitars and sitar and things built up nicely now and then. Lee’s Palace is something of an institution here, but it was my first time there.
