Joe Marcinek Band is; Joe Marcinek (Guitar/Vocals); If you're a Chicago music fan who just can't get enough of that sweet spot where rock meets jazz, Joe Marcinek is a name that comes up quite a bit.  Not content to be just a double threat -- laying down both guitar and keys in the Indiana-based jazz-fusion quartet Fresh Hops -- he's branched out again and again to take his multi-instrumental talents to other projects as well , a formidable musical menace.  While it's no surprise to see him pop up around Chicago with the ultra-busy Hops, he's equally likely to make contributions to special projects or jams . George Porter Jr - The Meters (Bass/Vocals); Geortge Porter Jr (born December 26, 1947) is an American musician, best known as the bassist and singer of The Meters . Along with Art Neville, Porter formed the group in the mid 1960s and came to be recognized as one of the progenitors of funk. The Meters disbanded in 1977 , but reformed in 1989 .Today the original group still plays the occasional reunion but the Funky Meters, of which Porter and Neville are members, most prominently keeps the spirit alive. http://www.georgeporterjr.com/ Alan Evans - Soulive/Karl Denson's Tiny Universe; (Drums/Vocals) Drummer Alan Evans is a workhorse. Between his regular gigs with Soulive and Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, not to mention his role as a studio engineer, Evans is relentless in his passion for organic music. https://www.facebook.com/Playonbrother/ Scott Guberman - Scott Guberman Band/Phil Lesh & Friends (Keyboards/Vocals) Scott Guberman performs regularly with Grateful Dead's founding bassist, Phil Lesh. Scott Guberman has become an outstandingly important member of the Bay Area music scene in between his shows with Phil Lesh, appearing most often at Terrapin Crossroads. Guberman also has a close musical relationship with Stu Allen, performing with him regularly inside and outside of Lesh’s bands.  Scott Guberman’s history finds him breaking into the Grateful Dead scene at the turn of the millennium. He first gained recognition as a Hammond organist performing heavily with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and former Grateful Dead keyboardist, Tom Constanten; and touring with Grateful Dead’s final keyboardist, Vince Welnick. https://www.scottguberman.com/ Please support musicians that are open to having their live shows  recorded and shared by attending their performances and purchasing officially released recordings and other merchandise. http://www.joemarcinekband.com/ https://www.facebook.com/JoeMarcinekBand/ https://twitter.com/joemarcinekband
