There are many wonderful songs that have a brief "show" life and are herd too rarely. I have assembled some rarities in hopes of sharing and showcasing some essential and interesting DTB songs, most did not get beyond 50 times played. The 50 times is arbitrary but I felt it provided a mark to make this decision. There are several songs in this compilation that were only performed a few times and it is a mystery how some of these songs ended up being obscure when they sound so good! My hope in gathering these songs is that others will discover and enjoy some great Donna The Buffalo songs that deserve to be herd more! Note from Tom Clausen (12-2-2014): The Rarities was inspired by my love of way too many songs that I had herd, had loved but was realizing were lost from most set lists DTB was playing and as was completely and reasonably clear they had too many songs to remember and too many to practically keep playing them all! So many of those that fell out of the 'rotation' seemed like great songs, gems and sad to see them just let go and not get herd by new herd folk... so the inspiration came for a snap shot of that time collection... plus at that time I simply was enjoying burning CD's so much it as real fun compiling.
