This was my third time seeing Built to Spill (missed them the last time they were at FYF in 2014 - as I didn't even go to the festival that year), and I was estatic to find out they were going to be playing "Keep It Like A Secret" in its entirety, because how can you call yourself a BtS fan and not love that album? Doug and crew sounded perfect under a setting sun on what turned out to be my favorite stage of the festival. It wasn't too crowded either, and in fact the crowd had drastically thinned by the time the set had ended (I dunno if that's good or bad). Recording came out good, though for a few seconds a familiar someone (if you've heard some of my past festival recordings) leaned over to talk to me, and I had to remind her that the mics were hot! But it ain't that bad, just like this set...
