Carry the Zero NOTES: I've waited 10 years to see this band play Coachella (ever since I first started attending in 2005), so you can imagine my excitement when I finally saw their name long overdue on the poster when the lineup dropped back in January. They had always seemed like the perfect band for a late afternoon slot on the outdoor stage, and sure enough (though it took 10 long years) it finally happened just as I hoped and imagined it would. Hearing "Goin' Against Your Mind" out on the polo fields will always be one of my favorite festival moments ever. It's a bummer a good friend of mine wasn't there that weekend to experience/hear it with me, but that's how it goes sometimes. Recording wise, there was a little bit of sound bleed during the quite parts and a tad wind, but I'd still say this is a solid recording. Also, thanks in part to our very own Aluche99 on here, I got to talk/meet with the drummer Stever after the set. I saw him out on fields during Ryan Adams, so I walked over and introduced myself and did the typical "omg i love you guys" thing. It was cool.
