Built to Spill played their first album Ultimate Alternative Wavers in its entirety for the first time ever to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its release. Treefort is set up much like it's older brother SXSW with multiple venues within walking distance and there were lines all 3 nights out in the cold Idaho air to get into the Shriner's hall as it was at capacity for each show. This venue has not been open to 'rock' shows for many years if ever but the stone building built in 1914 features a fantastic ballroom complete with hardwood floor and wood paneling. It was like stepping back into the '70s walking in here. The lineup for the evening also included Todd Dunnigan on keyboards who played on the original recording in 1993. The sound from the desk was great, just eq'd it a little. I also recorded x2 audience versions for a future matrix.
