The first set was billed as “Grilled Shrimp,†and featured all original Baked Shrimp songs played in a different style or genre than usual. Jared performed on acoustic guitar for the first time with Baked Shrimp during “The Manatee.†Under a Tree contained “We are the World†quotes, Pig Hearts and Mechanical Parts contained “Superman Theme†teases, Toast with Tea contained “The Manatee†teases, Serendipity contained “Norwegian Wood†teases. Star Spangled Banner was sung A cappella by all three band members at the front of the stage as the clock struck midnight on July 4th.
