They decided at the last minute to do an acoustic show here. It was supposed to be standing only, but they sold about 40-45 tickets so people pulled tables and chairs onto the floor and enjoyed an intimate setup. I am not sure if it was cinqo de mayo drunkenness or what but the crowd was obnoxious. A very chatty group in the back who paid no attention to their volume (or the music) and two drunk, obnoxious guys next to me who walked in around the 3rd song or so. I could tell immediately that it was trouble. You can probably hear me letting them know I am taping and asking them to keep their voices down. It did no good and in fact one became an asshole heckler during the show (in my opinion at least). I was at a hightop table directly in front of the speaker on the left side, so was perfectly placed for an awesome recording until these clowns showed up. Cruz went with the flow. You can hear him make a few comments about the atmosphere over the course of the show. I have only listened to a few spots and it sounds much better than I thought it would, but I expect that there are some annoying parts.
